Abstract:Tylophora tenuis is a species belonging to Tylophora genus, Asclepiadaceae. This study aimed to identify the plant species and evaluate the antibacterial activity of T. tenuis methanol extract on Staphylococcus aureus. The plant was extracted with methanol using soxhlet apparatus. The antibacterial property of the extract was evaluated using disk diffusion method.
