Antiasthmatic effect of atorvastatin via modulation of macrophage activation

Abstract: Purpose: Asthma is a chronic airway inflammatory disorder and is associated with macrophages. Statin, a well-known lipid-lowering agent, has recently been noted for its anti-inflammatory effect on macrophage.
