Anti‐proliferative effects of pentagamaboronon‐0‐sorbitol on HER2‐overexpressing breast cancer cells

Abstract: HER2‐positive breast cancer is an aggressive form of the disease that is associated with poor prognosis and chemo‐resistance. As such, investigation continues into the development of a new HER2‐targeted drug for breast cancer. This study investigated the anti‐proliferative activities of pentagamaboronon‐0‐sorbitol (PGB‐0‐So) in HER2‐overexpressing breast cancer (MCF‐7/HER2) cells. The cytotoxicity of PGB‐0‐So was assessed via MTT assay. Flow cytometry with propidium iodide and annexin‐V‐FITC staining was condu… Show more

“…Vero cells were inactivated using trypsin-EDTA, stained with 25 μM DCFDA (Sigma), and incubated at 37 °C for 30 min in a 5% of CO 2 incubator. Cells were treated with doxorubicin (dox; Sigma) 100 nM, CEO (50 and 100 μg/mL), or a combination of CEO and dox, then incubated at 37 °C CO 2 5% for 4 h and were analyzed by flow cytometry (Qodria et al 2022). Debris was excluded, and the cell population was isolated by gating.…”

“…At this stage, planning is carried out, and good planning will provide clear direction for the next development stage (Gómez & Suárez, 2020). In planning the use of e-modules, it can help students learn (Qodria et al, 2022). Help her because e-modules can support students in learning (Mohammadi et al, 2022) whose knowledge can be understood and applied to the environment (Herliani, 2016).…”
