Abstract:In the present study, an epoxy-modified silica nano-composite coating was deposited on an aluminum substrate and ACSR conductor. For this purpose, super-hydrophobic modified silica nanoparticles based on the TEOS and MTES precursors were prepared. Then, the modified silica nanoparticles were added to the epoxy resin solution.
