The aim of the study was to investigate the application of hydrocolloid dressings in the prevention and treatment of infant diaper rash. A total of 210 infants with diaper rash were included in the study and randomized into 3 groups of 70 infants. Infants in group A received hydrocolloid dressings and individualized nursing; infants in group B received mupirocin plaster and topical application of pearl powder as well as routine nursing; and infants in group C received zinc oxide plaster and routine nursing. The clinical efficacy, incidence of adverse events, time to resolution of diaper rash, hospitalization duration, mean cost and satisfaction of nursing were compared between the 3 groups. After 1 cycle of treatment and nursing, the difference in the healing rate of mild diaper rash between groups A, B and C was significant (P<0.05), with the best healing rate in group A. Differences in the healing rate of grade I and II diaper rash between groups A, B and C was significant (P<0.05), with the best healing rate in group A. The incidence of adverse events in infants between groups A, B and C were significantly different (P<0.05), with the lowest incidence in group A (2.9%). The time to resolution of diaper rash, hospitalization duration and cost in infants were not significantly different (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of nursing for the parents of groups A, B and C was 98.6, 87.1 and 80.0%, respectively (P<0.05). Hydrocolloid dressings combined with individualized nursing may prevent and treat infant diaper rash effectively, decrease the incidence of adverse reactions significantly, shorten time to resolution of diaper rash and hospitalization duration, reduce mean hospitalization cost, improve parent satisfaction and promote nursing-patient harmony. Thus, this method of treatment was worthy of clinical application.

Myocardial infarction (MI) or acute myocardial infarction(AMI) is known as heart attack. MI occurs when blood stops flowing properly to a part of the heart. MI occurred when one of the coronary arteries develops a blockage due to an unstable buildup of with blood, cholesterol and fat. This study aimed to determine the time interval between the onset of clinical symptoms and receiving streptokinase inpatients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) at Amir Hospital in Zabol city in 2013. This was a cross-sectional-descriptive study. In total 72 patients were selected from all patients with chest pain and who referred to the emergency of Amir Hospital during 2013 in Zabol located in southeast of Iran. All patients were diagnosed with AMI. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire including demographic characteristics, record of exact location of infarction, ECG, the time of patients' arrival to the emergency department (ED), and the time of receiving streptokinase. According to the obtained results of this study, the mean of onset to call, call to door, and door to needle times were 269.29±197.33, 34.02±12.32, and 96.33±49.95, respectively. The comparison of onset to call, and call to door and age, education and place of residence variables showed that there was a significant difference between these variables. In addition, the comparison of door to needle time and age, sex, education and place of residence variables showed that there was no significant difference between these variables. Delay in treatment of patients with STEM I is caused as a result of several factors including rate of patient's awareness and emergency status. We need to provide opportunities to treatment of MI by emergency and outpatient centers. To reducing in-hospital delay, we must teach physicians and emergency personnel to rapid diagnosis ofMI.

The group B streptococcus or agalactiae streptococcus is gram positive bacteria. These organisms are normal flora of women genital and gastrointestinal tracts, which may cause early onset infection in new born infants and pregnant women. Severe infection of GBS may cause infection like meningitis, sepsis etc in new born infants. Determining the level of GBS carriage in the genital tract of pregnant mothers is useful for prophylaxis purposes and reducing the GBS infection. The present study was conducted on pregnant women, with pregnancy age of 35 weeks or more, who referred to Mustafa Khomeini, Ilam, from January 2014 to December 2015. Total 90 vaginal fluid samples were extracted from the vagina of pregnant women and Group B strep strains were identified by using cultivation methods. Antibiotic sensitivity of the samples were determined by disc-diffusion method. Data were analyzed using SPSS software, version 18. Chi-square and T-test were used as appropriated. Results of the present study revealed the incidence rate of Group B strep strains turned out to be 4.4% in pregnant women referring to Mustafa Khomeini, Ilam, during the study period. The Group B Strep colonization was also significantly associated (P<0.05) with the number of previous pregnancies. High prevalence of group B Streptococcus in pregnant women and their impact on the incidence of infection in both mothers and infants, screening is of crucial importance for pregnant women prior to giving birth. Considering high sensitivity of strains to Clindamycin, Vancomycin, and Cefazolin, it is recommended to consider these factors as the preferred treatment of infections caused by GBS.
