Anterior mediastinal lymphangioma: Pre‐ and postnatal sonographic findings

Abstract: Anterior mediastinal lymphangiomas are very rare in utero with only a few cases reported in literature. We present a case of anterior mediastinal lymphangioma that was diagnosed on prenatal sonography (US) at 22 weeks' gestation. It appeared as a well-defined, multi-septated anechoic mass, in the anterior mediastinum between the heart base and right chest wall.
