“…One possible reason is that the lens becomes more opaque and thicker when getting older, thus increasing the risk of glaucoma and affecting preoperative measurement of ocular biometrics. Moreover, age has been reported to affect the morphology of the Schlemm's canal (SC) and trabecular meshwork (TM) as well as the anterior chamber depth measurement, especially in patients with PACG ( 22 , 23 ).
