Antenatal Administration of Betamethasone Contributes to Intimal Thickening of the Rat Ductus Arteriosus

Abstract: Background: Antenatal betamethasone (BMZ) is a standard therapy for reducing respiratory distress syndrome in preterm infants. Recently, some reports have indicated that BMZ promotes ductus arteriosus (DA) closure.
