Anshan (Tal‐e Malyan)

Abstract: Anshan (Anzan/Anšan) is a geographic name that appears most commonly in the titulary of the Middle Elamite kings – “kings of Susa and Anshan.” Rulers of the early Sukkalmah period also occasionally refer to themselves as kings of Anshan and Susa.
