Anomalous Systemic Arterial Supply to the Left Lung: To Which Category Should This Belong?

Abstract: An anomalous systemic arterial supply to the normal lung parenchyma with normal bronchial connections is a rare malformation. We herein report a case of a systemic arterial supply to the normal basal segment of the left lower lobe. The patient underwent resection of the left lower lobe. Here we propose a revised nomenclature for a systemic arterial supply to the normal lung with normal bronchial connections.
