“…The sample was illuminated by the monochromated light of an ultraquiet 150 W Xe arc lamp. 22 Comparing our results to those of Barth and Bässler using the polymer polyparaphenylene ͑PPV͒ derivatives, 4 we observe very similar behavior in regard to the dependence of the photocurrent on applied bias, and the temperature dependence of the PPY photocurrent, to the case when an injection-blocking SiO layer is present be-tween the ITO electrode and the PPV derivative.
