Anisotropy study of garnet films grown over substrates populated with gold nanoparticles

Abstract: Anisotropy of garnet films grown by liquid phase epitaxy (LPE) over (100)-oriented garnet substrates populated with gold nanoparticles is studied. The results of ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) and optical hysteresis loop measurements as well as optical images of domain structures of LPE-grown garnet films are presented and discussed.
