Abstract:3D anisotropic semiconductor nanostructures have unique physical properties including a high aspect ratio, optical polarization anisotropy, polarized photoluminescence, giant birefringence, and many others. Theoretical studies of anisotropic semiconductor nanostructures have shown that their electronic and optical properties dramatically depend on their shape and size. These factors open up an access to new generation of optical, optoelectronic, and light‐harvesting devices. In this article, we demonstrate adv… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
