Abstract:Magnetic properties of EuRh 2 Si 2 were studied using single crystal samples grown by the Bridgman method. The temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility and magnetization show large anisotropy at low temperatures, although the Eu ions in EuRh 2 Si 2 are divalent with the pure spin state of S = 7/2 and L = 0. In addition, the magnetic field effect on the antiferromagnetic ordering temperature T N is also very anisotropic, resulting in anisotropic magnetic field versus temperature (H − T) phase diagrams … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
