Anilides and phenylureas: correlation between calculated pi-electron structure and inhibition of photosynthesis.

Abstract: 25 , and saturated ammonium sulfate-M sodium acetate-isopropyl alcohol (80:18:2). 26 Uracil dimers made in ice differ from those found in the polynucleotide in that 50% of them are decomposed by formic acid hydrolysis. The remainder of the dimers are not destroyed by further hydrolysis-a result indicating that the dimer made by irradiating uracil in ice is not homogeneous in structure.
