“…Aneurysmal disease affecting the gonadal arteries is rarely encountered; its frequency and natural history remain unknown. 1,2,3 As many artery aneurysms, those that developed in ovarian arteries may be symptomatic until they rupture, leading to an important retroperitoneal bleeding. 1,2,4 Most available reports in the literature concerning ovarian artery aneurysms are related to rupture during the peripartum period, 1,5 20 and with less frequency in nonpregnant women.…”

“…In two cases, the cause was trauma [5,7]; in one case, suspected trauma or atherosclerosis was the cause [6]; in the fourth case, the cause was thought to be congenital, infectious, or traumatic [8]. However, only one of these reports described a patient with an intratesticular pseudoaneurysm that occurred after blunt trauma to the scrotum [5].…”

“…Aneurysm may develop in polyarteritis nodosa and other vasculitic processes, but there was no evidence of any underlying inflammation, and investigations failed to support the existence of an underlying connective tissue disorder. Case reports of arteriovenous malformation and lymphangioma of the spermatic cord are rare [ 1, 2] and to date only one case of testicular artery aneurysm has been reported [ 3]. The latter was in a 51‐year‐old man with a painless scrotal swelling where the aetiology was also unknown.…”
