Abstract:
Dilated cardiomyopathy is a primary myocardial disease characterized by left ventricular or biventricular dilation and impaired contractility. The anesthetic management of a patient with dilated cardiomyopathy undergoing a non-cardiac surgery is always challenging and may be associated with high mortality.
