Anatomical Factors Affecting DXA Scan Measurement of Bone Mineral Density in Lumber Spine

Abstract: Background: Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry scan is used to measure bone mineral density. Correct measurements greatly depend on accurate selection of targeted anatomical areas of bone.
