Abstract: Conclusion The potential advantages of lateral arthroplasty, such as the ability to preserve the natural kinematics of the knee joint and achieve a high degree of patient satisfaction with the results of the surgery, suggest that further research is definitely needed to study this complex but effective surgical intervention in order to form adequate patient selection criteria and assess which of the technical options are key to obtaining the optimal clinical outcome.
