“…The LHBT is derived from the articular interzone, and the SHBT and the coracobrachialis muscle are derived from the same mesenchymal primordium. Development of the LHBT and the SHBT from two different origins may explain the variations in the biceps brachii muscle, such as the absence of the LHBT [Franco et al, 2005;Ghalayini et al, 2007;Glueck et al, 2003;Koplas et al, 2009;Mariani et al, 1997].
