Anaphylaxis to trimethoprim: An under‐appreciated risk in acute medical care

Abstract: Anaphylaxis is a severe, systemic allergic reaction, which is frequently unexpected and carries a high mortality risk as a medical emergency. Anaphylaxis to trimethoprim is not a well recognized event.
