<span>Many software companies and teams use Agile methods as their main development approach. These methods promise higher team productivity, faster product delivery, a more flexible development process, and greater customer satisfaction. Nevertheless, a review of the literature shows that adapting to these methods, known as Agile transition, is not as easy as expected. However, several frameworks and models have been proposed to facilitate the Agile transition process. The challenging issue after the transition to agility is the behavior of companies and teams after the Agile transition and how to maintain agility in the long run. Very little research has been done on this issue, which has largely expressed concern. The present study tries to explore the hidden aspects of the transition to agility and provide a solution for Agile consolidation in newly Agile software teams. In this regard, using the grounded theory approach, the basic theory of Agile consolidation in these teams has been presented. Preliminary findings of the study indicate important factors that play an important role in Agile consolidation. Identification of challenges, facilitators, organizational culture structure, and human roles in Agile consolidation is the most important initial findings of this study.</span>

Developing design principles to standardize e-commerce ecosystems

Platform ecosystems have captured a variety of markets, enabling coordination, transactions, and value co-creation between independent actors. A focal platform constitutes the central nexus of e-commerce ecosystems and fosters the interaction among ecosystem participants through their boundary resources. Standardizing these interfaces simplifies ecosystem entry for developers and increases the number of participants propelling the network effects, and thus the overall value of the ecosystem. Currently, there is a lack of prescriptive design knowledge guiding platform owners in designing successful e-commerce ecosystems. Addressing this issue, we followed a dual approach, reporting on a systematic literature review in which we identified design requirements and complemented these with a multiple-case study on selected e-commerce ecosystems. Aggregating the requirements resulted in six meta-requirements and 19 design principles that foster the standardization of focal e-commerce platforms. Our design principles simplify the development of complements and enable multi-homing for developers due to possible standardization across ecosystems.

The word DevOps derives from two different words Development and Operations. DevOps has recorded as an interesting and novel approach adopted to the commonly used Agile software development methodology. It raised agility of the software development process. Practical issues of Agile methodology emphasize the requirement for collaboration of software development and operating teams. This collaboration completed by the DevOps approach engages with the Agile methodology to improve the quality, performance, and speed of the software developments. Since DevOps is an accentuating approach in the software development industry, this research aimed to conduct a literature review to study the evolution of the DevOps approach and its adoption in information systems projects. This target has accomplished by reviewing the Agile methodology, issues of the Agile methodology, DevOps approach, challenges and overcoming strategies of DevOps, and success factors of the DevOps approach. Finally, the paper provides better acquaintance about the DevOps adoption in Information System projects developments.
