Analytical substantiation of the parameters of the directional air-hydraulic hood

Abstract: The article is about to the calculation of the main technical parameters of the directional air-hydraulic hood. It is accepted as a mathematical model of wave equations of hyperbolic type as applied to pressure pipelines of pumping stations, and analytical solutions of wave equations for different values of the polytropic exponents are proposed. Water hammer poses a danger to the normal operation of the main equipment of stations, control and measuring equipment, control devices and pressure pipelines. To damp… Show more

“…It should be noted that if a flood flows into the reservoir several times in one season, the amount of muddy sediments will increase and the effect on the operational conditions of the reservoir will increase. In order to determine the current turbidity, water samples and sediment samples were taken using a rod bathometer from several walls of the entrance part of the Chartak reservoir basin [19,20]. The sampled streams are shown in the following spatial image of the reservoir (figure 3).…”

“…3.4). According to the calibration curves [6,7], the parameters of the steady motion of the liquid are determined: flow rate Q, velocity ϑ0, air volume W0 in the absorber at absolute pressure pga(Hga), absolute hydrodynamic pressure p0a(H0a) in the pressure pipe 7 (Fig. 1) and head loss hd0 in the connecting pipeline 8 (Fig.…”

“…To experimentally verify the reliability of the existing method for calculating the absorber (cap) with a diaphragm and the eligibility of using this method to calculate the absorber without a diaphragm in order to verify the proposed calculation method, special studies were carried out in the laboratory of hydraulics of the Karshi Engineering and Economic Institute, the methodology for which is described [6,7]. The diagram of the pumping unit is shown in Fig.…”

“…When calculating the filtration from the dam of the structure, the water level values were obtained on the basis of a graph linking the water level and the volume of the reservoir [9,10]. Based on the initial calculations, the volume of filtration passing through the reservoir dam and under it was determined.…”
