Analytic model for the bispectrum of galaxies in redshift space

Abstract: We develop an analytic theory for the redshift space bispectrum of dark matter, haloes, and galaxies. This is done within the context of the halo model of structure formation, as this allows for the self consistent inclusion of linear and nonlinear redshift-space distortions and also for the nonlinearity of the halo bias. The model is applicable over a wide range of scales: on the largest scales the predictions reduce to those of the standard perturbation theory (PT); on smaller scales they are determined prim… Show more

“…[22]. In the present paper, as a generalization of a previous work [22], we present an analytic expression for the bispectrum applying the halo approach with the HOD description with central galaxies and satellite galaxies. We focus on the bispectrum B g (t, k 1 , k 2 , k 3 ), which is defined by…”

“…In Ref. [22], the authors presented an analytic model of the bispectrum of galaxies in redshift space with the halo approach. However, our work utilizes a framework with central galaxies and satellite galaxies, which plays a crucial role in the theoretical formula.…”

“…It would also be interesting to use this approach to describe velocity fields, and to take into account redshift-space distortions (Smith et al 2008). However, we leave these tasks to future studies.…”
