Analysis on Dynamic Evolution of the Cost Risk of Prefabricated Building Based on DBN

Abstract: Prefabricated building constitutes the development trend of the construction industry in the future. However, many uncertainties in the construction process will surely lead to a higher cost. Therefore, it is necessary to study the cost risk evolution and transfer mechanism in the implementation process of this project. A dynamic evolution model for the cost risk of prefabricated buildings has been established in this paper. First of all, a matrix for cost risk of prefabricated buildings was established based … Show more

“…Due to its systematic characteristics, it is particularly prominent in the field of risk research, which needs multi-agent collaboration. For example, the WSR framework is used for risk control in the area of nuclear security (40), cost risks in the field of construction (41), and security risks in the field of enterprise management and control (42). However, it is rarely used in the area of public health network opinion, and there are many topics involved in this area.…”

“…Considering the interconnection between risk factors and the comprehensive impact on the project, determining the risk level and comparing it with the benchmark level to determine whether the risk is within an acceptable range. The risk assessment is here [23][24][25]: determine the baseline level -determine the risk level -compare -determine whether it is acceptable. Compared with risk analysis, which only considers the influence of a single factor, risk assessment pays more attention to the system and the overall situation.…”

“…Since the General Office of the State Council issued a policy on vigorously developing PBPs in 2016, China's PBPs have developed rapidly. The PBPs are very attractive to China's construction industry [14] because they conform to the construction concept of "sustainable green development" [35]. With the increasing demand for PBPs in China's construction industry, the central government has promulgated many policies to promote the development of PBPs [34].…”

“…Li et al [30] constructed a risk identification feedback graph and a risk flow chart using the system dynamics method to comprehensively identify investment risks that projects in China may face, and identify four key risk factors. Ye et al [35] established a dynamic evolution model of PBP cost risk based on the dynamic Bayesian network (DBN) and studied the construction cost risk evolution and transfer mechanism of PBPs. Rose [27] used an interactive research approach to conduct a case study of a Swedish PBP and proposed solutions for three major risks.…”
