Analysis on Displacement Angle of Phase-Shifted Carrier PWM for Modular Multilevel Converter

Abstract: This paper provides theoretical and experimental discussions on the characteristics of the modular multilevel converter (MMC) when phase-shifted carrier sinusoidal pulse-width modulation (PSC-SPWM) is applied.
