Analysis of Water Utility Websites Reveals Missed Opportunities

Abstract: Key Takeaways Websites of randomly selected water utilities were evaluated using criteria based on measures of public health and equity. Most of the websites surveyed adequately provided content but did not score well in customer accessibility or social media presence. Water utilities can take steps to improve communication with the public, better promote public health, and build consumer trust.
