Analysis of Vibration Monitoring Data of Flexible Suspension Lifting Structure Based on Time-Varying Theory

Abstract: An elevator is a typical flexible lifting machine. In order to monitor the vibration of elevator structure, the vibration characteristics of an elevator with a traction ratio of 1:1 has been tested experimentally. Sensors were arranged on the platform frame, car roof, and hoist rope to test the vibrations of the elevator in both ascending and descending conditions. The transverse, longitudinal, and coupled transverse-longitudinal vibrations were compared and analyzed. Further, the short-time Fourier transform … Show more

“…In order to measure the acceleration of the elevator in the process of emergency braking, ASC single axis capacitive acceleration sensor is used in the test. Capacitive sensor has the advantages of simple structure, small volume, high resolution, and good dynamic response, 20 and its mass is only 10 g, so the impact of the sensor on the test system is negligible. Acceleration sensor parameters are shown in Table 2.…”

“…− Step 5: filter the final data. There are three kinds of filters to be chosen: the low-pass filter, the high-pass filter, and the band-pass filter [24]. For any kind of filter, suitable parameters including calibration factors, low cut-off frequency, type, topology, and order are chosen appropriately.…”

“…In the other forms of hoisting systems, Cao et al [12] have studied the coupled vibrations of rope-guided hoisting systems with tension difference between two guiding ropes. Peng et al [13] have analyzed the transverse and longitudinal vibration characteristics as well as the time-frequency characteristics of the platform frame, car frame, and hoist rope during upward and downward movement through an elevator experimental platform. Zhang et al [14,15] have built the nonlinear time-varying model of the longitudinal vibration of the hoisting rope using the Hamilton principle and energy method and have studied the effect of lifting quality, traction force, compensating ropes, and tension device on the elevator vibration.…”
