Analysis of TREAT Tests L7 and L8 with SAS3D, LEVITATE and PLUTO2. [LMFBR]

Abstract: Fuel motion in TREAT Tests L7 and L8 is analyzed with the SAS3D, LEVITATE, and PLUT02 computer codes. These results are compared with fuel motion data obtained from the fast neutron hodoscope. It is concluded that fission gas acts to disperse fuel during the early stages of fuel motion. I.
