Abstract:In this article, we investigate the weighted conical Radon transform, a novel class of Radon transforms that takes into account the attenuation effect by integrating a function over circular cones. This transform has significant applications in nuclear tomography imaging, the nuclear industry, and homeland security. We propose new inversion formulas for the weighted conical Radon transform, which an explicit formula and a formula based on convolution frames. Furthermore, we provide numerical simulations design… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
