Comparing the analysis on the mechanical properties of non-pneumatic tires in home and abroad, structural heterogeneity is one of the main factors affecting the performance of non-pneumatic tires. The stiffness of the support and tread also have a greater impact on the performance of non-pneumatic tires. For certain materials, the factors that affect the stiffness of the tread are the size of the strengthened story and the thickness of the tread. In view of the influence of the stiffness of tread on the performance of flexible spoke wheels, this paper analyzes the performance of flexible spoke wheels based on ABAQUS on the HIPS strengthened story and the size of the tread structure. The results show that increasing the stiffness of the tread can reduce tire sinking and improve the load-bearing capacity. Reducing the deformation of the tire can ensure the structural stability of the support body, thereby reducing the maximum stress value of the support body. Reducing the grounding area and increasing the grounding pressure can improve the uniformity of the grounding pressure distribution.
