Scientific studies that explore guidelines for sports vocation are scarce. The objective of this study is to develop and validate (through verification of content and face validity, reliability and objectivity) a protocol to guide sports vocation. The protocol established to accomplish vocational guidance is the result of the variables attributed to dermatoglyphic analysis and anthropometric measurements. Validity was established based on the development of a Table of Epigenetic Characteristics for Sports (QCEE), subsequently validated using the computerized Delphi method. After validation, reliability and objectivity were evaluated using an intra and interrater correlation, respectively. To that end, an experimental sample group of 105 children; 55 females and 50 males, between the ages of 8 and 17 (age x̄=12.0 ±2.30 years) was used. Protocol validation obtained significant results, as follows: Validity (100% agreement in the 3rd round; Reliability (rmean=1.00; p<0.001 and α ≥ 0.99) and Objectivity (rmean= 0.99; p<0.001 and α ≥ 0.99). This result provides the scientific community with a reliable sports vocational guidance protocol for young people and contributes to the aims of sustainable development until 2030 and worldwide post-pandemic recovery.

IntroductionCharcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) is a slow and progressive peripheral motor sensory neuropathy frequently associated with the cavo-varus foot deformity. We conducted a scoping review on the clinical scales used to assess foot deviations in CMT patients and analyzed their metric properties.Evidence AcquisitionA first search was conducted to retrieve all scales used to assess foot characteristics in CMT patients from the Medline, Web of Science, Google Scholar, Cochrane, and PEDro databases. A second search was conducted to include all studies that evaluated the metric properties of such identified scales from the same databases. We followed the methodologic guidelines specific for scoping reviews and used the PICO framework to set the eligibility criteria. Two independent investigators screened all papers.Evidence SynthesisThe first search found 724 papers. Of these, 41 were included, using six different scales: “Foot Posture Index” (FPI), “Foot Function Index”, “Maryland Foot Score”, “American Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Society's Hindfoot Evaluation Scale”, “Foot Health Status Questionnaire”, Wicart-Seringe grade. The second search produced 259 papers. Of these, 49 regarding the metric properties of these scales were included. We presented and analyzed the properties of all identified scales in terms of developmental history, clinical characteristics (domains, items, scores), metric characteristics (uni-dimensionality, inter- and intra-rater reliability, concurrent validity, responsiveness), and operational characteristics (normative values, manual availability, learning time and assessors' characteristics).ConclusionsOur results suggested the adoption of the six-item version of the FPI scale (FPI-6) for foot assessment in the CMT population, with scoring provided by Rasch Analysis. This scale has demonstrated high applicability in different cohorts after a short training period for clinicians, along with good psychometric properties. FPI-6 can help health professionals to assess foot deformity in CMT patients over the years.

The instrument in the form of an essay math test is one of the tools to measure the progress of the learning process or learning outcomes. The essay math test needs to be applied in education because students are trained to be independent, creative, innovative, and improve literacy skills. A good measurement model facilitates as much information as possible, for example, qualitative information, the accuracy of the interpretation of the instrument according to its function, provides a linear measure, can overcome missing data, and find data that is incorrect (misfits) or uncommon (outliers). Rasch's Partial Credit Model can identify the quality of the essay math test more accurately. The reliability value in Rasch modeling is indicated by the value of individual separation (person separation) and item separation. Output summary statistics to get information on the person and item reliability and Cronbach alpha. Analysis with the Rasch model produces a statistical analysis of suitability (fit statistics) which provides information that the data obtained ideally illustrates that people who have a high ability provide patterns of answers to items according to their level of difficulty. To analyze the quality of an essay math test using Rasch's Partial Credit Model, ministep software can be used.
