Agriculture 4.0 and 5.0 generate good expectations of satisfying the growing demand for food in a sustainable way. However, in order to make effective use of scientific and technological developments, infrastructure, knowledge, experience and skills are required. In this sense, the objective of this research was to analyze the technological capacity of the Mexican agri-food sector for the adoption of new technologies. The documentary research method was used, and the information was obtained from the Encuesta Nacional Agropecuaria, the Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía and the Instituto Mexicano para la Competitividad. A cluster analysis was performed to generate a typology of states, in addition to an analysis of variance with the Kruskal–Wallis H Test for independent samples, for which the IBM® SPSS Statistics program was used. The variables analyzed presented very low values, indicating low technological capabilities. Three clusters of states with different technological capabilities were identified. The first was formed of four states in the north of the country with high technological capabilities, for which it was expected that they would have higher adoption rates. Next, there was a group made up of ten states in the north and center of the country with intermediate technological capabilities. Finally, there was a group of 18 states of the country made up of states from the center and south of the country, which present the lowest levels. The results indicate that the technological capacities for the adoption of new technologies in the Mexican agri-food sector are low in general, and are concentrated in some highly specialized regions linked to international markets.

The aim of this study is to identify the major present and future issues identified in the literature on Activity-Based Costing (ABC) implementation as searched by the Web of Science database, with a focus on papers published between (1991) and ( 2001). ( 2022). Furthermore, the purpose of this literature review is to emphasize the most important ideas while also laying the groundwork for future research on Activity-Based Costing (ABC) that employs bibliometric analysis. The analysis identifies some of the most common terms. But also the most significant writers that referenced this topic in their research findings, the journals that are most cited in the articles evaluated, and the nations with the highest efficacy. The VOSviewer tool was used to analyse data for keywords and geographical location based on Activity-Based Costing (ABC). It acquired (1725) Web of Science papers classified. Smart libraries, which enable large-scale networking and sharing, will be the future development paradigm for new libraries. It is people-oriented and has the potential to enhance management and service by explaining the significance and benefits of using Activity-Based Costing (ABC) in services.

En el sector agroalimentario en la actualidad se habla de la agricultura 4.0 y 5.0, que consiste en incluir e integrar los últimos desarrollos basados en tecnologías digitales. Sin embargo, para poder adoptarlas se requiere contar con capacidades tecnológicas previas e infraestructura. En ese sentido, el objetivo de esta investigación fue identificar el potencial del sector agroalimentario mexicano para la adopción de las tecnologías digitales en el sector agroalimentario. Para lo anterior, se utilizó el método de investigación documental y la información sobre las variables analizadas se obtuvo de la Encuesta Nacional Agropecuaria 2019. En cuanto a resultados destaca que las tecnologías informáticas y de comunicación tienen promedio nacional de uso de 37.69 %, el uso de computadora presenta un promedio nacional de 5.57 %, el uso de internet 7.88 %, el uso de teléfono celular un 88.13 %, destaca como la tecnología más difundida y utilizada en el sector. El nivel educativo es muy bajo y aún persiste una gran parte de población que no cuenta con ningún tipo de estudios. Respecto a la disponibilidad de crédito es importante resaltar que las solicitudes son muy bajas y que la mayoría de las solicitudes de crédito realizadas son aprobadas, lo que sugiere que existe una buena disponibilidad. Los resultados anteriores sugieren que el sector agroalimentario mexicano tiene un bajo potencial para la adopción de las nuevas tecnologías. En ese sentido, es importante generar más información y conocimiento sobre el tema, para generar políticas acordes a las nuevas realidades del sector que se encuentra en constante cambio y transformación.
