Analysis of the Functioning Structure of Education from the Computer Science Perspective

Abstract: Our study is integrated into the issues promoted by the General Theory of Education (Fundamentals of Pedagogy), with multiple openings to the General Theory of Education (General Didactics), but also to the Didactics of Computer Science. The general aim pursued is to analyze the structure of functioning of education at the level of an ideal model, which can be argued on the basis of informatics concepts: information, algorithms, programming methods, units of measure (bit and its multiples), databases and so on… Show more

“…In the curriculum design of the training, informatic argumentation [11] and validation can be done at the level of the construction of the curriculum [8], the curricula and the textbooks and lessons, as a main form of organizing the educational process. In all four situations it is necessary to pedagogically process the data that make up primary informational pedagogical resources (primary data, pedagogically unprocessed) at the disposal of the designers ("curriculum designers"), realizable on the following computer circuit: Selection of the essential data from the perspective of their pedagogical value potential (optimal training and development of pupils' personality, in relation to the psychological and school age and the particularities of the educational discipline).…”

“…A model for analyzing the structure of the informatic training activity allows: a) to capitalize on the fundamental concepts of informatics (Data, Information, Algorithms, Graphs, Database, Networks, Feedback) in defining and analyzing the object of study, normativity and methodology research -specific to the theory of general education / didactics; b) their use in the validation of the pedagogical language involved and perfected within a general ideal model (the curricular model of the training activity), but also in the applied models (see the curriculum model of the lesson, managerial approached) [2], [3], [4], [5], [6]. In this context can be capitalized not only fundamental informatic concepts that define and analyze the specific object of study of informatics, but also the fundamental and operational concepts that epistemologically fix the normative and research methodology specific to the domain.…”
