Abstract:We considered a long-range Ising model under Glauber dynamics and calculated the difference from the mean-field approximation in a finite-size system using perturbation theory. To deal with the Bogoliubov–Born–Green–Kirkwood–Yvon hierarchy, we assumed that certain types of extensive properties have a Gaussian distribution, which turned out to be equivalent to the Kirkwood superposition approximation within the range of first-order perturbation. After several calculations, ordinary differential equations that d… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
