Abstract:Abstract. The article presents a literature review on the causes of failure of esophagointestinal and gastrointestinal anastomoses. The frequency of failure of esophagointestinal anastomoses, depending on the choice of the method of connection formation, varies from 4,5 % to 8,3 %, gastrointestinal anastomoses occur in 1,5 %-3,0 % of cases.
