Analysis of Solar PV Application Based on Bidirectional Inverter

Abstract: Building a DC-DC converter with high step-up, low cost and high efficiency from low DC voltage is the requirement in many applications. It is achieved by employing a front end boost converter based full bridge inverter on bidirectional inverter. In conventional boost converter during device turn-off, voltage overshoot occurs across the semiconductor devices. So, an additional snubber or voltage clamping is required to limit the overshot voltage. It upturns the component’s count and losses making the converter … Show more

“…Tests have shown that the vehicles tested have good performance and can be used as a benchmark for automotive models and standards. The study also found that the possibilities for the development of distributed systems, mainly including congestion management, load transfer, peak shaving, and voltage control, have found that providing reactive power with high-efficiency chargers can minimize grid losses [9]. The image of the project is shown in figure 5.…”

“…State government has been taking several steps to promote rural electrification, including the extension for grid electricity to remote and hilly areas, the promotion of off-grid and decentralized renewable energy solutions, and the installation of solar power systems in remote and off-grid areas. Overall, the rural electrification ratio in Himachal Pradesh is high, and the state government has been working to ensure that all households in the state have access to reliable and affordable electricity [7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]. To achieve the desired performance from solar PV panel and bidirectional step-up DC-DC converter, new modified buck-boost DC-DC converter with L-C filter is used [16][17][18][19].…”
