Analysis of Security Criteria for IoT-Based Supply Chain: A Case Study of FMCG Industries

Abstract: Purpose: In supply chains, creating a secure space for data production, sending, storing, and analysis has always been a critical issue. The main goal of this research was to evaluate the importance of various security criteria in an intelligent supply chain system. Methodology: The main data collection method was the expert survey. Experts validated the security criteria and sub-criteria. Then, the importance of these criteria was evaluated using the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process method. Findings: The re… Show more

“…The competent institutions and SC management FMCG were advised to employ a set of measures and incentives to support the digitalization process based on the findings. Nozari et al ( 2021 ) study of the SC in the FMCG sector offered a thorough analytical framework for creating a long-lasting, intelligent SC based on IoT-based big data analytics. The suggested framework is built on the IoT implementation technique, with a focus on using big input data and targeted surveys.…”

“…According to Madhavi and Wickramarachchi ( 2021 ), it is crucial to assess how the COVID-19 pandemic would affect the FMCG sector and how SC resilience will perform better in times of crisis. Nozari et al ( 2021 ) presentation of the study issue offers potential solutions for IoT-based SC management in FMCG Industries. The outcomes showed that among the collected security requirements for IoT-based SC management, dependability and privacy, together with their sub-criteria, were the most crucial.…”

“…Kelly et al [13] investigated the effective implementation of the IoT to monitor orderly internal conditions through a low-cost versatile sensing system. Huh et al [14] evaluated the management of IoT tools using blockchain technology. Much research has also focused on the connection between IoT and the creation of smart cities.…”
