Analysis of recent CLAS data onΣ*(1385) photoproduction off a neutron target

Abstract: Based on recent experimental data obtained by the CLAS Collaboration, the Σ(1385) photoproduction off a neutron target at laboratory photon energies Eγ up to 2.5 GeV is investigated in an effective Lagrangian approach including s-, u-, and t-channel Born-term contributions. The present calculation does not take into account any explicit s-channel baryon-resonance contributions, however, in the spirit of duality, we include t-channel exchanges of mesonic Regge trajectories. The onset of the Regge regime is cont… Show more

“…Both models can describe the existent rough data quantitatively. Based on the current results, it can be expected that the data will be described better if a mixing of two models, that is, the interpolating Regge treatment [19,28,31,33], is introduced, which requires more precise data. From Fig.…”

“…In Refs. [20,21], the local gauge invariance of the Regge trajectory was discussed. In the case of this work, the gauge invariance is kept because the Lagrangians for the t channel produce an amplitude which keeps gauge invariance by itself.…”

“…[27,35]. For describing the P b production in photon and pion induced processes, the following Lagrangians are needed [22,23,[36][37][38], where N, A, P b , π, and ϒ are the nucleon, photon, P b state, pion, and ϒ meson fields, respectively. And τ is the Pauli matrix.…”
