Vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one of the shrimps that is widely cultivated in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to analyze the growth and dynamics of water quality in vaname shrimp cultivation ponds using an intensive system. This research is a descriptive study with a survey method conducted in January-April 2023. The research location is in a vaname shrimp cultivation pond with an intensive system with a stocking of 116 individuals/m3. The research results showed that the average weight of shrimp at the end of cultivation was 18.48 grams/fish. Average daily growth ranges from 0.1-0.41 grams. The survival rate (SR) of cultivated vaname shrimp is 75.8% with a feed quantity ratio (FCR) of 1.47. The results of water quality measurements include temperatures ranging from 27.4-30.1 °C, brightness 25-65 cm, salinity 21-26 ppt, pH 8-9, dissolved oxygen 4.2-6.7 ppm, carbon dioxide 24.5- 67.1 ppm, ammonia 0.11-1.67, TOM 2.78-108.70 ppm and total vibrio 1x103-3.9x103 CFU/ml. The availability of clean water is the responsibility of the local government to the community by one of the regional-owned companies known as the regional drinking water company (Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum – PDAM). The company performance will greatly affect community satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the performance of PDAM Lematang Enim and assess customer satisfaction with them. The data used in this study were collected through laboratory analysis and direct surveys of the community. The data were then analyzed using quantitative statistical methods. Customer satisfaction index (CSI) analysis and quadrant analysis are used to map customer satisfaction with the services provided. The CSI score showed that a value of 66.14 can be grouped in the satisfied category. The level of customer satisfaction with the services provided by PDAM Lematang Enim can be categorized as good. Strategies for increasing customer satisfaction are formulated through strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis. The results of the analysis show that customer satisfaction is included in the satisfied category. Water quality variables include that water does not smell and tastes quite good, but customers still feel that the water they receive has a different color. Strategies that can be implemented to increase customer satisfaction include focusing on increasing the most important variables according to customers, reducing spending on less important variables, and optimizing the use of appropriate technology.

Moa Island is one of the remote Indonesian Islands that face the difficulty in accessing clean water, especially during the dry season. One way to get clean water is by drilling for groundwater. The drilled groundwater in Kaiwatu Village on Moa Island, Southwest Maluku Regency, Maluku Province, was analyzed for its content to obtain primary data. Primary data related to the quality of drilled groundwater sources includes chemical, physical, and microbiological parameters. The results of chemical parameters obtained from the test results were <0.01 mg/L fluoride, total chromium, nitrite, nitrate, iron, manganese, zinc, cyanide, lead, <0,001 mg/L cadmium, 17.9 mg/L hardness, sulfate 147.55 mg/L, pH 7.50, and organic substances 2.8 mg/L. The physical parameter analysis showed a turbidity level of 3.71 NTU, a temperature of 26.8 °C, and a color of 5 TCU. The microbiological parameters obtained by the analysis were 0/100 mL. Primary data was then compared with secondary data, namely environmental health quality standards and air health requirements from Minister of Health Regulation No. 32 of 2017 for chemical and physical parameters, as well as water quality requirements and monitoring from Minister of Health Regulation 416/MENKES/IX/1990 for microbiological parameters. The analysis results using a comparison of primary and secondary data showed that all parameters contained in the primary data had values below the safe limits set by the requirements in the secondary data.
