Analysis of Non-Linearly Loaded Antennas and Scatterers

Abstract

ABSTR4CT. A very efficient numerical technique for the analysis of non-line arty loaded antennas and scatterers is proposed.It is based on a generaliza tion of the piecewise harmonic balance method, which overcomes the need to excaine the complete transient deveZopment in the time domain.The algorithm enables the anaZysis of muZtiport nonZinearities expressed even in impZicit form and appears to be extremely usefuZ even with strong nonZinearities. This approach is found to be highly recommended for appZications which onZy require the steady-state responses such as co-operative targets and environ mental measurement techniques. An exampZe of appZication is given.
