Abstract: BackgroundStreptococcus agalactiae can produce CAMP factor, which can promote the β-hemolysin activity of Staphylococcus aureus, forming an arrow-shaped hemolysis enhancement zone at the intersection of the two bacterial species on a blood agar plate.
