Abstract:The leguminous family of plants includes fenugreek (Trigonella-Foenum Graecum), one of the oldest and most promising therapeutic herbs. The seeds are mostly used as spices to flavour practically all recipes, while the fresh, delicate leaves and stem are eaten as curry vegetables.
