Analysis of Hospitalizations for COPD Exacerbation: Opportunities for Improving Care

Abstract: Patients hospitalized with acute exacerbation of COPD generally receive adequate hospital care, but there may be opportunities to improve care pharmacologically and with smoking cessation counseling and vaccination during and after hospitalization.
