Analysis of Honey Comb Based Insulation for Cored Brick Heater

Abstract: The project deals with the insulation of a heater inside which the air is being circulated at 1800℃ and the outer shell is maintained at a temperature of less than 100℃. There are only limited materials available which can bear such high temperatures. Though some materials are available, they possess high densities: say, corundum mulliete which has higher temperature resistance but has high density.
