Analysis of Crack Formation and Growth in Tunnel Linings Using Double-K Fracture Criterion

Abstract: Empirical criteria and fracture/damage mechanics are used to evaluate the safety of lining cracks in the conventional methods. However, the former lacks a scientific basis, and the latter requires complicated mechanical calculations.
