We found that Se was mainly incorporated into glutelin and globulin but not incorporated into albumin or prolamin, and the major Se‐binding glutelin fraction had a molecular weight of 200 kDa (Fang et al., 2013). Direct analysis of biomacromolecules is very complicated, and the relatively low abundance of Se amplifies the difficulty of characterizing selenoproteins.…”
