Abstract: Dispersion coefficients are determined, and entry/exit effects during gas displacement experiments in porous media are characterized. Two methods are proposed for measuring concentration breakthrough profiles: using an X-ray scanner for internal core measurements and a Raman spectrometer for postcore measurements.
