Analysis of Blasting Vibration Effect of Railway Tunnel and Determination of Reasonable Burial Depth

Abstract: Based on specific examples of underpass tunnel blasting, field measurements, and numerical simulation studies are carried out. According to the results of the blasting vibration data measured on-site, a regression model of the blasting vibration velocity is established. Based on the wavelet packet energy spectrum analysis method, the effect of frequency on the vibration response intensity is studied. In addition, the maximum charge per delay allowed for tunnel blasting is obtained by formula inversion. Relying… Show more

“…Overall, these fndings suggest good agreement between experimental and numerical models, afrming the suitability of the numerical model for further analysis. Moreover, the results validate the efectiveness of using the ALE fuid-structure coupling algorithm to examine the dynamic attributes of the explosion phenomenon [38][39][40][41].…”

“…Although many achievements (Wang et al 2022;Ling et al 2023;Roy et al 2020) have been made in the prediction of tunnel blasting vibration effect and impact partitioning, which have certain guiding significance for practical engineering, there are still some deficiencies. Theoretical studies with the assumption of a homogeneous, isotropic medium as a precondition are not compatible with practical engineering.…”

“…Terefore, it is very important to study the prediction of blasting vibration waveforms and the impact zoning of blasting vibrations. Although many achievements [27][28][29][30] have been made in the prediction of tunnel blasting vibration efect and impact partitioning, which have certain guiding signifcance for practical engineering, there are still some defciencies. For example, the theoretical results obtained based on the assumption of a uniform and isotropic medium as a research premise are not universal.…”
