Analysis of a Collapse in Deep Tunnel Based on Microseismic Monitoring

Abstract: Tunnel collapse causes serious casualties and economic losses. One typical case analysis of a collapse in deep-buried tunnel based on microseismic monitoring is presented. The results show that the number of microseismic event keeps increasing and the distribution of microseismic events becomes concentrated in space domain gradually during collapse nucleation process.
